USA Today: Tips to Help Children Travel Well

November 22, 2010 by APW

Thanksgiving on Thursday means that this is one of the biggest travel weeks of the year.  The USA Today offered some relevant content for all parents traveling during the holiday with their kids.

Check out Liz Szabo’s Tips to Help Children Travel Well.  Szabo is a talented journalist – she digs deep on all parenting & health related pieces that she writes.  Additionally, she is a unique journalist because she uses balance in her parenting story with input from BOTH the mom & dad perspective.  A quality that would be nice to see from more journalists and parenting magazines/articles.  In the article, she provides some expert tips on how to keep children from having meltdowns during travel.  Of course, she consults with master baby/toddler soother – Dr. Harvey Karp of The Happiest Baby on the Block fame.  Full Disclosure: There are some quotes from some dads you might know.
