Spring is finally here! Since the weather is getting warmer (sort of), let’s meet at Astoria Park near Charybdis Playground. Children of all ages are welcome.
The nearly 60-acre park is one of the largest open spaces in Queens. The park has tennis courts, basketball courts, boccie ball, two playgrounds, and an incredible view of the East River and Manhattan skyline.
I’ll plan to bring bubbles and some Wiffle ball gear (maybe we can even get a Sandlot-style game going?)
Feel free to bring other toys and games (but please leave your Babe Ruth-autographed baseball at home).
