"Ohhhh, turn up! It’s Graduation Week!" That was my message to my 4-year-old who was about to finish pre-kindergarten and to my 10-year-old who was graduating 5th grade. Yup, two in the same week! The role dads can play in raising future leaders and social cause advocates will be the focus of a talk Wednesday, June 12, featuring the father of human rights activist Malala Yousafzai. NYC Dads Group will host the event, slated for 7 pm at 632 Broadway in Manhattan, called "Let Them Fly: Raising Empowered Leaders, Advocates, and Citizens."
