Who We are

City Dads Group is a dynamic, diverse community of parents who defy the “doofus dad” stereotype. Our members actively participate in the upbringing of their children, from the first diaper change onward.

We don’t believe in “woman’s work” or “dad duties” – only parenting. We are committed to succeeding at it for our children’s sake.

We are:

• at-home and working dads
• straight and gay dads
• married, divorced and single dads
• white, black and every-other-color-of-the-rainbow dads
• young and young-at-heart dads

Unlike many online parenting communities, we are not just virtual. We have a hands-on membership that regularly takes part in group activities – true “boots on the ground” – in 40+ major North American metropolitan areas.
