Tickets for the 2018 Kids’ Night on Broadway, when children ages 18 and under can attend a show free when accompanied by a full-paying adult, are now on sale!
The Broadway League’s annual event, scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, is always a great way to introduce your child, or re-acquaint yourself, to the special experience that is live theater on the greatest stage of all. Discounts are also offered on restaurants and area parking for the evening, and select shows will also offer in-theatre activities for kids including “talk backs,” activity books, and other events.
Our family has taken advantage of Kids’ Night on Broadway a few times in recent years. Once we even scored front-row seats to the Tony-award winning musical comedy A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder.
This year’s shows are:
- A Bronx Tale
- Aladdin
- Anastasia
- The Band’s Visit
- Beautiful: The Carole King Musical
- Chicago
- Come From Away
- Farinelli and The King
- Kinky Boots
- The Lion King
- Once on this Island
- The Phantom of the Opera
- School of Rock the Musical
- SpongeBob Squarepants
- Wicked
Our family highly recommends Come From Away and Wicked, and also gives a thumbs up to School of Rock and Beautiful.
