Making pancakes and waffles with my children on the weekends has become a regular thing. We relish the jovial bonding experience of mixing the batter, working the waffle iron or griddle and making a mess.
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, we decided to change things up, and enjoyed a breakfast feast for dinner! If our local diner can advertise that they “serve breakfast food all day,” we figured we could do that in our home, too.

We partnered with Hungry Jack, and elevated our breakFEAST dinner experience beyond their delicious waffles and pancakes to include a variety of microwaveable syrup flavors like Hungry Jack Cinnamon & Sugar, Butter, and Original. The best part was popping the Hungry Jack microwaveable syrup bottle right into our microwave and, moments later, gobbling up our food using warm, mouth-watering syrup. The “easy pour” cap was perfect for the children to use on their own without creating a sticky mess.

Life is good when our most difficult decisions were choosing what flavor syrup to pair with our tasty dinner. My son decided to dip his waffles into warm Hungry Jack Butter flavored microwaveable syrup. Our friends doused their silver dollar pancakes with Hungry Jack Cinnamon & Sugar syrup. When our baby wasn’t eating her pancakes, she was finger-painting her high chair with the Hungry Jack Original Syrup. Everyone enjoyed their dinner, conversation and wonderful company as we all agreed that having a breakFEAST for dinner needs to become the new normal in our home.
