To all the mothers out there we say THANK YOU! I, for one, know I don’t say it enough. Two words that take seconds to say, yet mean so much. Mother’s Day is a day where we are reminded that we should say it more often, not just once a year. So many of us are wrapped up in our day-to-day activities that we are lucky to leave the house fully clothed. I know I am guilty of just “getting through the day” sometimes. It’s time we start to cherish the moments we have right in front of us. It’s time we thank those that have taken on the role of a mother in our lives. It doesn’t have to be the traditional motherly role. Let’s use this day to thank all those who have given us that motherly advice, or have shown us by example how to succeed in life. To all those moms, and those who have taken on that roll, we say THANK YOU!
A few dads from our group have put together a small piece to thank their wives/mother’s of their children. We can’t thank these ladies enough. You are the driving force for which we operate. Without you there’s a good chance there wouldn’t be pants on our kids.
My wife has given us more than I could have ever imagined. She works tirelessly so that I am afforded the opportunity to be at home with our kids. She is the first one up every morning making us breakfast. She is the last one to bed, working so that she can be home for dinner the following day. She is the definition of unconditional love. When I see the way my kids adore her, I know I am one lucky guy. – Ryan
My wife is a superhero mom. I really don’t know how she does it all but I appreciate it every day. – Steve
Happy Mother’s Day to my wife Amy. Thanks for being the best wife and mama to your favorite boys! I hope you enjoy your day. – Matt
