Help NYC Dads Group fight pediatric cancer, enjoy great food and maybe even win an autographed New York Liberty jersey Sunday, June 12, during a special two-hour fundraiser.
Stop by The Ellington bar and restaurant, West 106th and Amsterdam in Manhattan, between 3 and 5 p.m. June 12 and 10 percent of the proceeds of all food and drink you purchase will go to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. ALSF is a registered 501(c)3 charity that has raised more than $120 million for research into better treatments and a cure for childhood cancers. Cash donations to the cause will also be accepted.
At the event, we will also raffle a New York Liberty jersey autographed by star center Carolyn Swords that the WNBA team donated for the occasion. To enter, go on Twitter or Instagram and mention the event using these handles: @AlexsLemonade, @TheEllingtonNY, @NYLiberty, @NYCDadsGroup, and #CityDads. You must be present at the fundraiser to win.
Our NYC chapter is one of six City Dads Group outposts raising funds this weekend for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. The organization has funded more than 550 research projects nationally to fight pediatric cancer.
