Dallas Dads Group is a diverse community of fathers who take an active role in our children’s lives. The only requirement to joining us is to be a father residing in the Dallas/Fort Worth area who wants to socialize and interact with other dads who enjoy spending quality time with their children.
WHO WE ARE
We include fathers of all stripes: married dads, single dads, gay dads, stepdads, at-home dads, full-time working dads, etc. There are no group dues and no attendance expectations.
WHAT WE DO
We host father/child meetups several times a month at parks, playgrounds, museums, sporting events, parent-and-me classes, and many other places in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. We also host Dads Nights Out to give our members an opportunity to socialize, have fun, learn, and support each other as we navigate parenthood together. Our meetups occur both during the week and on weekends to accommodate both stay at home dads and working dads.
HOW WE DO IT
Through this website and various social media channels, we offer parenting resources, local guides, and give our members the opportunity to connect online or in-person. Via our parent organization, City Dads Group, we offer occasional sponsored events in which our members and their families gain free access to events, receive free products, and prizes from sponsor companies such as Dove Men+ Care, Britax and Baby Bjorn.

Dallas Dads Group Organizers:
David is the founder of Dallas Dads Group, and helps new dad groups get started across the nation through its parent, City Dads Group. A former pediatric EMT-P turned stay-at-home dad for three years, he is now doing software development for Stratus Intelligence. David is active in his community, teaching activity classes at a local preschool and CPR Heartsaver courses at his church. He is also the recipient of the YMCA Father of the Year Award for 2015 in Waxahachie and co-authors the JustADad247 blog. In his spare time, he enjoys scoping out cool new eateries with his wife and crushing his competition in fantasy football.
Jeff is a co-organizer of Dallas Dads Group. A full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Jeff focuses on organizing weekend meetups to include working dads into the group’s activities. As a passionate sports fan, he organizes outings for the group at local sporting events. A native of Massachusetts who moved to Texas in 2010, Jeff loves Boston sports, still thinks ‘Nique was robbed in ’88, and has never been able to decide if his favorite hip hop group is A Tribe Called Quest or De La Soul.
Anton is a co-organizer of Dallas Dads Group focusing on activities for at-home fathers. A Dallas native, who spent time living in St. Louis, he has been an at-home father since October 2014.
