City Dads Group members strapped their babies to their chests and visited the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, toured a professional football stadium in San Francisco, and climbed the famous "Rocky" steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art among the many activities our fathers participated in as part of last week's celebration of International Babywearing Week. City Dads Across U.S. to Strap Kids on for International Babywearing Week
International Babywearing Week is October 5 - 11. The NYC Dads Group had such a blast participating in this important baby bonding event the past few years - strolling through the Central Park Zoo, walking over the Brooklyn Bridge, and observing priceless art at the MET Museum. Now that we are a national network of dad groups, we're planning something BIGGER to "Share the Adventure" and raise awareness this year throughout the nation. BabyBjorn Takes NYC Dads Out to the All-Star Game
The Major League Baseball All-Star Game wasn't in New York this year (it was at Citi Field in 2013), but the next best thing was to rally the troops and watch the game together with a huge group of dads! BabyBjorn welcomed us for a fun-filled All-Star Dads Night Out with all the baseball essentials: hot dogs, fresh pretzels, peanuts, popcorn, cold beverages, baseball trivia and, of course, some comfy chairs to watch the big game. Life is a Picnic for NYC Dads Group
Saturday, June 7, 2014. The weather? A perfect 80 or so degrees, blue skies, no humidity, a nice, cool breeze. The company? Outstanding: Dads and moms with exuberant and incredibly well-behaved kids. In a shady section of Central Park’s Great Lawn near its famous Turtle Pond, 95 people gathered for the annual NYC Dads Group "Father's Day" family picnic, sponsored by Britax/BOB.
