Organizers of an annual conference for at-home fathers will again try to host an in-person event in 2021. The National At-Home Dad Network recently put tickets on sale for HomeDadCon 2021, scheduled for Oct 14-16 in Cincinnati, the same locale where the previous year's conference was set to take place. Health and safety concerns from the COVID-19 pandemic caused the nonprofit organization to scrub the autumn 2020 in-person event for an online only version dubbed DadCon@Home 2020. DadCon@Home Fatherhood Conference Comes to Your House Friday

The annual conference for at-home fathers comes directly to the living rooms, kitchen tables and man caves of its target audience starting Friday night as the ongoing COVID19 pandemic has shifted the yearly gathering from a hotel meeting hall to an online event. DadCon@Home 2020, a conference for men who are the primary caretakers of their children, kicks off Friday with a 9 p.m. Eastern time virtual social event and then offers content to attendees Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. EDT. Fatherhood Conferences to Go Virtual in 2020 Because of Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic claimed two more victims recently -- two major annual fatherhood conferences. However, both will be resurrected in an online "virtual" format. Organizers of HomeDadCon, a gathering of at-home fathers, and Dad 2.0, a more marketing/branding oriented event, called off in-person events scheduled for this October. At-home fathers from all over are scheduled to gather in Cincinnati in October 2020 for HomeDadCon, an annual "professional development" conference for full-time caregivers of the dad persuasion. And you can get a ticket on the cheap this New Year's Day. The Oct. 8-10, 2020, convention is for at-home fathers who embrace parenting as their most important job. At-home fathers looking for parenting advice or just hoping to connect with others like themselves will have a chance to do both at the annual national at-home dad convention, recently announced to take place Sept. 26-28, 2019, in Minneapolis, Minn. HomeDadCon 2019, as the event is known, will also be a chance for our Twin Cities Dads Group to show off its hometown.
