Join us at the Salt Lake City Library’s Chinese New Year celebration!
Chinese New Year — also known as the Spring Festival — is a 15-day celebration based on the Lunar Calendar. This year we begin the year of the hai, or pig. Our celebration will include a Lion Dance, a cultural program, family-friendly crafts, a movie screening, calligraphy workshop, and a discussion of traditional Chinese medicine.
This event is held in partnership with the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, Utah and The City Library.
12:45pm · Lion Dance, Urban Room
1pm · Cultural Program, Auditorium
1pm–5pm · Children’s Craft and Movie, Calligraphy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine Discussion, Urban Room, Share Space, and Lower Urban Room
This is a long event so I don’t know if we will make it until 5:00.
