Dads “having it all”? In Cosmopolitan magazine, no less?
Yep – the magazine often best known for helping liberate women sexually through tips and quizzes features L.A. Dads Group members Trevor Mulligan and Doyin Richards in its April issue talking about how “Men Want Work-Life Balance Too” by taking on more of the childrearing and household chores from their wives.
“Men want this. Women want this,” Mulligan is quoted as saying. “Our challenge is standing up against the stigma.”
San Francisco Dads Group members Mike Heenan and Beau Coffron, and Denver Dads Group member Dave Taylor are among the many fathers featured a San Jose Mercury News feature about how “Dad bloggers rewrite the rules of fatherhood.” The March 4 piece discusses how these men are active in their children’s lives to change the perception and reality of modern fatherhood.
“Most of the dad bloggers have different topics we write about, but most of us want to be proactive in how to move a vision of fatherhood forward,” Coffron is quoted as saying in the article.
