Want to meet some cool dads and hot brands that get fatherhood? Then we have the ticket for you — at an exclusive discount of 20 percent off!
The Dad 2.0 Summit is offering an exclusive discount ticket deal so City Dads Group members can attend the Feb. 21-23, 2019, conference in San Antonio, Texas. Tickets for individual attendees are $199, down from $249. Tickets for businesses (agencies or brands wishing to pitch to attendees) will even be reduced from $599 to $479.
Dad 2.0 Summit is an annual three-day conference where marketers, social media leaders, blogging parents and regular fathers gather to discuss the changing voice and perception of modern fatherhood. City Dads Group has been a media partner of Dad 2.0 since 2014.
Actor Dax Shepard (Parenthood, Armchair Expert podcast) is scheduled to be one of the event’s many keynote speakers. Past speakers have included sports and media stars such as football Hall of Famers Michael Strahan and Ronnie Lott, best-selling authors Brad Meltzer and Brene Brown and TV producer Jason Katims.
Dad 2.0 Summit bills itself as “an open conversation about the commercial power of dads online, and an opportunity to learn the tools and tactics used by influential bloggers to create high-quality content, build personal brands, and develop business ideas.” However, the Dad 2.0 Summit tends to be more about names not normally in bold type — mainly, the everyday fathers who attend and the bonds they create with each other.
“Dad 2.0 has been the place we have found the guys who organize our groups, write for our blogs, and help with our influencer campaigns with national brands,” City Dads Group co-founder Matt Schneider said in a previous article on the conference. “Our groups have very similar goals in helping further the importance and positive perception of being an active, involved father, and collaborations like this benefit everybody for the good of all parenting.”
Dad 2.019, as the February event is also known, will be based out of The Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio, a hotel on the famed San Antonio Riverwalk, a popular local and tourist destination. This year’s sponsors include Dove Men+Care, Legoland Resorts and Google’s “Be Internet Awesome” educational segment.
