I found this article interesting because I was first diagnosed with autism at the age of three-and-a-half and I always used to live in a world of my own because I was afraid of being rejected by other people. However, today I don’t live in a world of my own and I feel that I can overcome my fears of rejection by moving on and choosing other groups of people to hang out with. The Paddle For Autism Awareness is on Saturday August 4th from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Valentino Park in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
